I have tried it, currently about 2k on the oil change. 2.7 cylinder with 200k+ on the odometer. I found that after 1k I had smoother response on acceleration but that may be just me. Not an oil expert here but I will continue to use it for the suggested 4 oil changes by the manufacturer.
Before I had my truck it had regular oil changes every 5k or about every 4 months according to the reciepts in my glove box.
No negatives to report but I may change out my filter at 2.5k just to be proactive and check on the deposits in my engine.

Got a friend to use it in his 2007 Mitsubishi Endeavor, with ~330k miles. Due to the amount of oil his engine was burning through the exhaust. As well as the interview between the Motor Oil Geek and Valvoline.

He'll be doing his second oil change with the 5w-30 soon.

Always used non synthetic prior to the last change. Always change the oil at 3K. For the last few years, he's been adding/topping off 1-2 quarts in that period of 3k distance.

As of this first oil change, the smoking is visibly less, and he's stated that he hasn't needed to add as much as he used to, at the same interval of dipstick checking that does. He is happy about that.

More to come in the next few oil changes.

If the vehicle has always had frequent oil changes, that’s better maintenance than any additive you could purchase.
