If I did it, I'd somehow manage to make it heat instead of cool.

Dangon two part JB weld started setting up in 2 minutes, probably should've done that in cooler part of the day. Either way, it leaked..waste of money.

I’ve had better results with their water weld formula. Had to clean it and degrease first though. IMG_4296.jpg

need to get yourself one of those cheap Amazon winches.

those come-a-longs only have a short range, and it's still manual labor!

the amazon winch is rated just as high, has 50' of line, and isn't manual labor

the ammo box modification was because i put far too much effort into everything. they make receiver winch plates.

$1300 poorer, and still a questionable decision. i wanted something better than the lawn tractor to move the trailer around the yard.

still a steal considering the he rebuilt/honed the motor, with new drive belts. it runs like brand new. he was just liquidating his garage projects that he hadn't gotten to in 30 years or was just tired of looking at.

one guy at work is already trying to convince me to come by to ride trails with him... and might have a line on a plow...

Sure you didn’t purchase the fast set JB weld? I got some for a non structural filler and it sets real fast. Says 4-6 minutes but I’ll bet in this heat it set like super glue

you'd have to come all the way out to indiana, but i could contact the guy again. i can at least talk to the coworker that got me connected with the guy(afaik, he's only reaching out via his friend network first, to try to avoid marketplace fiasco's). i think they were honda's. they were identical machines, in red, with a black seat, and i remember them having dual gauges, which i can't find a comparable model online. one had brand new tires.

out of respect, i didn't even ask the price on the 3 wheelers, because i wouldn't take them even at free. i know they're tippy death traps, and don't suit even the hairbrained requirements i've created to 'need' this one

but the atv market is just as crazy as the vehicle market. anything less than $1.5k is 'ran when parked'/'box of parts'/'doesn't run'. anything running and driving, that doesn't look like it was rescued from a swamp is at least $2k with major problems, with well-sorted/cared for examples being far closer to $5k.

so by that logic, i saved around $4k on this one, which was why i got it. i could likely flip it very easily at $3k with minimal issues even a year from now.
