I've used the water weld JB weld on some plastic bowls my kids have smashed up and it works great.

The "radiator weld" JB weld started setting up after about 45 seconds of kneading. Bad experience 0/10 would not recommend.

Morning folks....Took a few photos at the farm yesterday....The cotton is looking good this year and I found some small mushrooms. No I didn't eat them and there hasn't been cows on the place in 30 years.

To add to my previous comment. I also torque all oil drain plugs. I have a 3/8" torque wrench and it's only job is drain plugs and spark plugs.

    Morning all :pccoffee:

Catching up on all the post made me think a little bit about the spark plug topic. Both the Tacoma and Camry are inline 4 cylinders so that would be a simple job. Then looking at the Subaru.... yea.... THAT is not gonna be fun! Luckily they were replaced when they installed a new turbo and used engine a little bit before I got it.

The 97 Outback has very little room to work between the engine and strut towers, that one you do by feel.
The 06 Forester seems to have the engine mounted in a different position in the chassis and is a breeze to do.
    No turbo on either.

The old EJ series was definitely easier, especially the old 2.2. Those were like angled so super easy access. When they went to the "F" series timing chain engines, holy smokes!

They did the turbo super weird on the F20DIT. It's literally on the bottom of the engine. A little weird, but I guess it works? They went to equal length headers to the turbo on this engine so some of the quirky burble is gone. Still sounds pretty good and gives some low key pops and bangs when shifting. Makes me wonder if someone swapped downpipes as I'm pretty sure they don't do it that much stock. :notsure:

My first week there I was told in no uncertain terms that there was no overtime - whatever I didn't get done today will be waiting for me tomorrow. I'm okay with that.

Coworker wears these(they have guns on them if you look close)often from Savage Tacticians, he was also blown up in a Humvee in the 'Stan and is perpetually fidgety but nobody says anything to him.

If the pink hairs are ok, a martini shirt on Friday should be no big deal. I thought this was a free country? What amendment is the freedom of speech? Oh that's right, FIRST.

Yeah, I’m planning on taking it back tomorrow. I think I’d be better off buying some good rope, soft shackles, and another snatch block of some sort.
