My brother and I went to the 50th anniversary of the Reno Air Races back in 2013 and while strolling the tarmac, modified for the races we noticed a hanger with what looked like 2 girls dressed scantily outside and a sign hanging over the door:
    "Cocktails"

My brother and I entered and low and behold, we each proceeded to order a Bloody Mary, something we hadn't had in years......
The bartender asked us if we liked to "eat" our Marys or "drink" them. Of course we both said EAT!
It was one of THE best Bloody Marys I've ever had and I've been chasing the flavor ever since!

I just recently discovered the killer BM mix that they used.......

I've gone crazy with it.....lol now picking my own veggies too.
Anyone else end up going down the long and varied Bloody Mary rabbit hole?

    No one?
Alrighty then....... the pickling process turned out great, but was hoping to get some more tips on it to add to the Bloody Mary experience.

That has always been my trepidation on making a great Bloody Mary; the mix and ratio of all the ingredients that go into it.....

Turns out, they used in Reno was a known pre-mixed bottle of Bloody Mary spices!
Its what seemingly makes this all SO easy to make, and have it come out exactly as delicious every time...

"Demitris" Bloody Mary mix is the secret (NOT affiliated in any way, just a happy customer):
