    Happy Sunday, everyone.

He looks like a little fighter, I hope that he pulls through and someone will adopt him. I can see the determination in his face, he wants to experience this world.

    Good evening everyone,

Thunderstorms are in the area. I can use the rain.

Thanks for the update Marty. Nine lives…

Nice, clean look. Good job Paul :101010:

    Go catch dinner Jim.

I’ll have a strawberry cone later.

    Well fishing was crap
Mostly because the campground I was aiming for is closed for a remodel. And all of the other camps on the *R*E*D*A*C*T*E*D* river were full so I had to change plans. Friday night my camp neighbors were asses.
    IMG_5382.jpg
technically it’s a camp meant for folks with horses but it’s become the last ditch for everyone who can’t find a site in the RV camps. It was jam packed Friday night
I moved on Saturday morning as it was too noisy and the folks next door didn’t understand the rules of personal space and set up their tent 10’ from my camper
But things were looking up. I started making my way down the road and was just planning on checking every camp again on the off chance that I could find a free spot. Well I ended up lucking out and got a site at one of my favorite lakes. Really hard to get into and I didn’t think I’d get in there at all this summer.
    IMG_5410.jpg
so rough start but ended up alright

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Went to a car show today...a big car show...the biggest show they've ever had. The overflow, which rarely has more than a dozen or so cars in it, was completely full today. I didn't get but a few pictures. Very nice collection of cars & trucks. Some very rare.

Anyhow, there was this really nice 1st gen T4R:
    20250720_122146.jpg
33k on the clock and very clean, inside and out. Then, I found a couple of nice old Broncos:
    20250720_123606.jpg 20250720_123614.jpg

I didn't get a picture, but a guy had a restored Bill Stroppe Baja racer. Very nice. They took some bars out of the rollcage to make ingress/egress easier, otherwise it looked like it was ready for the 1000!

Blue skies (except for some Canadian smoke) and 80* temps, with a light breeze out of the east (What's up with that? We never get winds out of the east) made for a great show. Only bummer was running into an old friend and finding out one of the old gang passed a week and a half ago. We ain't getting any younger...

If I had any more when you started setting up the Runner I was ready to send you another one but the batch I bought were all gone.

yes. most of the places i go are the smaller "feeder" streams in the mountains that drain into the bigger rivers. or places that have dams to regulate the river level and try to keep things going through the worse of our hot summer days.
there's only a couple of spots on the Big Hole that I've fished because it is big and has a lot of boat traffic so hard to not get run over while you're out there wading. there's a couple sections that break up into smaller channels and I'll hop around on the little islands. Those are probably dried up now.

Eyes open around 10 days, ears will start unfolding from the head during this same time, although the ears are still round, “mouse ears” at this point. Such a sweet, tiny fighter-I’m rooting for this baby.
