Traded it in mid-February and got a 2023 WRX. Just put a 1.5" lift on it Friday, going for a rally look. Might use some of the 701 money to buy 17" wheels and all terrains.
Edit: and you know they're going to be gold wheels :D

Not sure yet. Might wait until winter and see if I can scoop an off season deal on a KTM 1090/1190/1290 adv. I'd like to eventually find something to replace the F800GS in all-around duty.

Yeah, they make a hidden hitch system for it, I just don't have it. Someday, maybe. I'd have to get rid of my third "F1 style" brake light, too, and re-buy the stock plastic plug, came with the brake light installed when I bought it.

And no, no voting haha looking at gold and bronze only.

I can't imagine not having a truck... it's been driving me nuts these last couple months without one. Not saying I'd even need a big bad one. Maybe like a Maverick as a small-ish all around rig. Something with a bed to haul stuff.

it would be odd! back when i was fixing my grey tacoma it took me a few months so all i drove was my si.

ya thats more or less what im meaning something like a mav or a subi that is still awd and a wagon. atm we use the tow/payload capacity of the f150 to the limit a lot! so going to a smaller mid size or even a mav just wouldnt make sense for us.

I've been keeping my eyes out for a late 80's early 90s single cab long bed tacoma/pickup. Cheap to keep around and insure, old enough to get classic plates for it and not have to worry about registration.

alright all here is an update on the title issue from Saturday.

i called the dealer and asked for the title lady that was good with me last time. i laid out the issues again with the title i then told her the issues i had with the sales manager lying to cover his ass on the mistakes they have done. plus the other shit. i was told she is very sorry but she knows words mean nothing for me atm... i told her i want who ever is above the sales manager since i honestly do not trust him nor do i want to talk with him on this matter again. i was told that is the owner and she will get in contact with him to meet me today at 4pm and if he is out of town we will setup a time frame to talk this out with the title lady the owner and us. thats it nobody else im done being thrown around and this shit being wrong and wasting my time...

fyi i did say i appreciate the apology from her and kept my self calm and not rude towards her. just pointed out how upset/annoyed i am at this situation for still not being right and the dealer not working to right me on this and make me want to come back again.

so i will let you guys know later today if we end up meeting or if its another day situation...

also to note: loved the stealthitch but putting the hitch pin in was always an annoying task since it is up behind the bumper.

It is and I have told them to buy it back... So going to be getting my money and in a sense black listed from that dealer to not come back. Which is funny since this constant thing has been on them!

looks like some kind of shipping protector to me that should be removed during PDI that most dealers dont pay attention to and leave

I've been pondering an Audi S4/6 as a follow-on if I didn't want a newer Taco / LC, and yeah, that lack of a truckbed is definitely something that hangs me up as well.

On the VB's you bolt the hitch itself in through a hole in the bumper. I have a brake light there, but most people just have a plastic plug. Doesn't look bad to do on this generation.

    upload_2025-7-21_14-44-36.png

I like it. I like how it looks, and with having a 16 month old its a great place to put her shit when we travel. It'll fit a pack n play easily. Otherwise I hardly use it haha. Surprisingly quiet on the freeway and barely impacts mpgs. I'm guessing this lift will do more to hurt the mpgs than the box is.

I removed it and it has made no difference at all other than cosmetic. I did save it though in case someone wants it. :D Prolly collect dust on the garage wall until I die of old age or sell the house.
