Trust me I know the feels. I cringe every time I see a CA, WA, or OR plate in the parking lot at Whole Foods.

I think it's fine to move somewhere new but blend in, try to fit in, assimilate with the culture and the locals.

Where I'm from in the midwest we are very similar to southern culture in terms of hospitality and friendliness - we'd give you the shirt off our backs or give ya a place to stay or cook you a meal.

It's funny to move somewhere new and then go visit home, a lot of light bulbs turn on. I don't miss Milwaukee's politics or its crime or pothole ridden streets, but the good midwest people are still awesome.

@StayinStock you guys do some sort of inspections or emissions over there in Missouri land? I was behind a Chevy S10 Blazer with Missouri tags earlier today and it was quite obvious it had no converters on it. Fuckin' stunk and I had my windows down

 

We quit doing inspections this year….never had emissions either ….

 

We do inspections, but my county is rural so no emissions. Not that I would take the catalytic off anything I currently own.

That old '95 Talon I had the converter was gutted as the thing burned so much oil it kept plugging it up
