Fashioned a hanger out of some scrap to hang my shopping bags for easy access with topper door up. Used the space for a small tool bag too. Pretty domesticated project, but gave me an excuse to cut and weld.

Any addition of vertical storage space is awesome - domesticated projects, like that, are the best. I dig it.

This locking deal has been a problem since I bought the truck. It locks automatically about a minute after unlocking with the fob. If unlocked with a key, it locks randomly or not at all. First time auto locked with the engine running.

I have checked everything I could with a meter and found nothing. My best guess is some part slowly failing or intermittent electrical problem. The plan has been to wait for something to fail then replace it, but it's been years. Either that, or this truck is the preferred vehicle of

    The Twilight Zone.

A replacement window was $110 on Amazon.

Sounds like you have a bad door switch and the truck doesn’t know when the door is open or closed

You probably know but just in case.... The doors when opened with the FOB will automatically lock after a minute or two if you don't open a door. At least on my 2015.

Recently installed the ATH fab rear bumper, bed stiffener, and Leitner Designs Rack. I have been loving it so far.

i wired them to OEM fog wiring, so they work with factory fog switch

they set out slightly and down, basically sit just outside my headlight beams
on each side, but powerful enough to blend in out far enough in the middle

this is because i lost my factory fogs with bumper, i didnt really want to bolt a bunch
on the bumper so figured id add these for added security during deer season

Spent hours trying to get my driver CV out, hammer with ratchet strap is no good, slide hammer with CV axle attachment wouldn’t go over. Pry bar proved useless.
I feel like an idiot, I’m probably the most pissed off I have ever been working on my truck. The videos make it look so damn easy :annoyed:.
I’m worried the end of the diff is mushroomed and won’t slide out due to a little slide I had in the rain. I counter steered but ended up hitting the driver side wheel on the curb.

Did you try hitting it out from underneath the truck towards outside of truck? Front skid probably has to come off as well . There are these little grooves in an oem axle that you can put your pry bar on and then hit it with a small Sledge hammer. Also it's good to have the CV nice and level. I achieve this with a cam strap hooked to the upper control arm.

More mods than it should have...
Finally rerouted the wiring so I can actually use my rear lights that I moved to my rack. Previous placement was near the tailgate (pic shown).

Yes, I have been under the car for a while, maybe my hammer is too light, or I’m just too weak :(
Cv is not level though, I’ll try that tomorrow
