It was a nice find today. Someone put out a couple whole boxes laid in rows as they come out the box. Clearly they removed all the truly desirables. There were two quick chat, but I only took one. They both had different plastic bubbles. This one is square. The other was sculpted to minimize package size/movement. Strange to see.

    Another plane post,

My favorite part, she smiles at you!

In real life, this aircraft actually had a lounge in the lower deck, where the forward cargo hold would be. Which also explains the extra bulge near the nose gear.

It even had integrated air stairs that lead into the lounge from the outside! All this 1970s opulence for a 55-minute flight between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It's not at all difficult to see why the L-1011 didn't last a year with PSA.

The days of walking on the tarmac to your airplane. I recall going through a lounge and up stairs, but it was a bigger area, plane.
