Once Amazon bought WF it went downhill for real, meat in particular


Publix - Apex/Cary/Morrisville by the airport, Burlington but there are none in the CH/D area


I have a Lowes food in Pittsboro - if I need something Walmart doesn't have or want nicer veg [except avocados, walmart is killing that for cheap] I go there; niche stuff, I go to the co-op market in Pittsboro

I do like Lowes Foods, great store. The fact that they have a bar in there is flipping awesome. I go to the one on 501 from time to time.

I think WF def got cheaper on store brand items with Amazon buying them. Listen, I despise Bezos, I despise Amazon. They harm local businesses like crazy.

The popcorn at Whole Foods is so cheap. I love their store brand stuff b/c it's good quality and hella cheap. A lot of people don't know how Whole Foods got its name, it got its name from not having certain bad ingredients in their products, a thing they stick to til this day.

I don't buy a lot of food because I don't eat large meals so it doesn't cost me much to buy almost all of my food from WF.

I do get some meat from them and I'm usually happy. Depends on what I have time for. If I have time to drive out to the country for beef I will.
