I know theirs plenty of threads for this question but Im getting a set of Greenlane rock sliders, but I’m conflicted on whether to get the them powder coated or not. They will get some good wear on them so it may just be easier in the long run to just spray can it to touch it up. what do you guys think I should do here

i bought my greenlane sliders raw and raptor coated them with the 2k. so far the coating has been durable and minor chips or scratches can be touched up with a rattle can of the 1k which blends in decent.

Did you end up putting a primer on first or just the raptor coat

i tried to do it right with good prep and the Upol self etching primer.

i raptor coated my front and rear bumpers, rear seat delete, and iKamper Mini roof tent shell along with the sliders and I used around 10 bottles. for just the sliders, you can probably get away with maybe 1 can of primer and a 2 bottle pack of raptor if you know what you are doing. i find the coverage is about half of what raptor's directions say, especially on tubing.

i dont have a pic of the sliders but here is the seat delete...
