I literally dug some front shocks out of a trash can today. The part number is 48510-04190. Looks like they are 3rd gen trd off road shocks, which I’ve read will fit and provide 1 inch of lift for my 2nd gen. One of them is still assembled and the other one is not and missing parts. I’ve got the top mount and big rubber bushing but judging by parts diagram I’m missing the spring isolator, a washer, and a nut. I can find the diagram but can’t seem to find the part numbers for these missing parts. Also parts.Toyota.com website seems to be down at the moment? Any help would be appreciated

For $27 a piece, I’m just going to order the KYB strut mount kits off Amazon

Are the shock absorbers even still good?

Don't get me wrong, I dumpster dive too. But you should make sure they are good before you waste your time and money.

They came from someone who just swapped these out for king shocks and didn’t want them. I was told these were brand new out of the box less than 6 months ago. I just happened to hear about it the same day they decided to toss them in the trash can. Just lucky I guess

the shocks alone wont give you a lift, but are the springs with them? and if theyre yellow and blue shocks, then yes, theyre the Off Road ones and will lift the front 1 1/2 or so! Good find!!
