    Afternoon everyone :hattip:

Just got home after from exercising the Camaro and it is a very warm day . As always the Camaro starts up so easily after sitting in the garage for 3 months

Even with the outside ambient air temp at 103deg , the coolant temp was sitting at 180° and all I'm using is a dual electric fan set up on a aluminum radiator

My latest 'easy bread' baking was a huge success, even our picky grandson (11) loved it!

    Easy Honey & Milk Bread:
    Pre heat oven to 350°
In a large bowl add 3 cups of Self-rising flour.
Warm 1/2 cup honey (10 seconds in microwave).
Blend honey into 1 1/4 cup lowfat milk.
Mix well into flour bowl (wooden spoon good).
Drop dough into pre greased 8x4 inch bread pan.
    Bake for 40 minutes.
Serve warm or lightly toasted slices.

    Evening all:

:(, while you guys are having fun, I'm out there mowing grass! When I started it was overcast and comfy, then the sun came out but still not too bad.

If the unit is over 10 years old the cost will be a lot of cash.

Good morning. We are all packed up and ready for vacation. All the stuff is staged and ready to be packed in my son's truck. Need to drop him off at work, gas up the truck, come home and take a walk, run the truck through the car wash, then pack the truck. Semi busy morning.

At the beginning of the week we had maybe five hummingbirds at our feeders. You've heard me talk about the decreases in birds we've been seeing over the last two years. Three years ago we had 30+ birds or more, constantly between the heavier migration numbers in the spring/fall. Two years, maybe five to ten. This year five is the most we've seen at any one time.
Until the last few days. Suddenly we have 30+ birds. Even a couple of Rufus with the bright neck patches (gorget) and they seem to be hanging around.
Why the sudden influx in midsummer? There is a big forest fire about thirty miles to the south, so are they displaced birds looking for some relief? I have no idea. A sudden bunch of babies leaving the nest and joining their parents at the feeders? Probably not because there are too many. But three years ago we would go through 50 pounds of sugar every summer, the last two years less than twenty. The early days of this summer maybe ten pounds... and now we are gonna need to buy sugar.
Whatever is happening, I'm glad to see so many.
