The OEM rack looks funky on anything other than Pro and TH, bigger tires will do the trick on other trims, but do you run 35s to balance out the rack?

I'm more likely to install a ladder rack on a truck than a roof rack and I have no need for a lader rack. I think the roof rack looks good on the LC of course it sits further back and there's more roof. I'd still prefer not to have one as it gets in the way of snow removal.

Prinsu racks have a cut to fit noise reducing edge trim, and you can buy that separately. When I had a prinsu rack on my 2015, heavy cross winds would cause a noise, but otherwise going 80 across Idaho didn’t produce anything like y’all are describing.

I’d recommend trying it if it fits

installed mine today, but 2 hr later it rained...the eight screw wells literbally became wells, collected water, but I soaked them with tissue paper. I will put down some permatex tomorrow into the wells.

Got my Trumgeta OE style rack installed today. Fit/finish and style look great. Very happy with it.

In the tread on crossbar racks, and some other online content the Trumgetta got some comments that has me concerned. It's hard to know when something made of Chinesium gets the testing I know Yakima and Toyota do.

After a long time Yakima finally has the 180 clips available but still no Landing Pad option. With that I believe I'm going to go with an old school tower and crossbars solution. My use is boats, ladders, and long stuff. Everyone I know with the overlander look racks and can complain about noise, snow and ice gathering, and a bother to use for the type of carrying I need to do. I've witnessed the pros and cons - lots of cons - at boat landings too.

If you get crossbars with t-slots you have all sorts of additional carry options if needed and to me better yet, as needed. In addition to the easy fast on and off plus width, I like how the crossbar solution won't stand out if only for quickly removing the all of it.
