Best of Luck! It starts out no big deal, then you get to figure in compound angle cuts, mirrored sides, copping, and then, you'll loose your Fucking mind!! Lol
I need to invest in that Swag kit for my bender.. Looks like its close to the same one! Proud mof your for sticking with a little metal Fab!

Thanks man! I’ve got no problem losing my mind, escaping that fucker once in a while is a welcome change :D

I’m having so much fun with it, and and it’s in no small part thanks to you! You were one of the folks who helped demystify it for me and give me a nudge to just try and see what happens

I’ve mostly built stuff for the garage so far (knockoff vyper stool up next!), but starting to get confident enough to consider welding on the truck and more of the bigger stuff for the non-profit my wife is affiliated with so I’ll be flush with projects soon. Hell, I am in to this bender for less than a nice bed rack, this hobby could pay for itself in short order

If you want to play with the swag kit to see if it would be worth it for ya, you are welcome over any time you’re in Tucson.

@Supr4Lo need anything bent for/because of your link project? I need some more practice!

Check out what showed up today :D

    IMG_2647.jpg

Also scored a nice finger break set up last week on the cheap, to bend things of a flatter variety (and dude threw in a HF tube roller that I just ordered the swag upgrade for on their 4th of July sale :spending:).

Any ideas on next trail? I might be able to come out again for the next one if I’m not working :) (kid starting to sleep through the night now…)

Nice score! You're going to need a bigger garage soon!!

    Early retirement? hahah
No plans as of now. Once the heat dissipates we'll be back in action! Any trail requests?

I’d love to get back out to Pyeatt Draw at some point! Tons of fun stuff to play on and still has that FS road running next to it for when you need to bail out (the filter). Payson is a little cooler but still need this heat to break…

Amber’s “sister” has a cabin up there too so I might be able to convince her to make a long weekend of it

I did a lot of it in my brother’s KRX and it’s fun for sure. He did the wall though… might be a bit intense for a Tacoma though. You do the wall in your taco?

Hell no! Assuming that is what my book called “the filter,” not a chance! We explored it a bit on foot which was challenging enough and turned around and found the last connection to the FS road.

I wouldn’t mind watching Jason put his tire on it though! He might have a shot at the slightly less ridiculous bypass off to the side. That is rock buggy territory for sure.

This trail close by seems interesting… (Rocker knocker).

That area is Amazing! Doesn't even feel like your just outside of Payson. Washington Park is beautiful and very small town feels. The locals dont care for the traffic through town, but thats what happens when yoiu live off a forest road like that. Plenty of camping spots to pick from off of FR64. We found this little spot for a little get away after hiking the Washington TH to an old "train tunnel" just shy of RMRD300.

Welcome to the thread! We have gone on some pretty sweet trips! Hopefully all our rigs will be ready and rolling soon enough to make the first plan. I know Jason has his hands full and I've got a few things to knock out.
    Remember @TACOTU3 Closers get cobbler!

I’ll get that elusive cobbler one of these days… I still think we need to make that in to a shirt or sticker!
