    I just bought a new Schwinn Axum Sport today. I know, but it’s what I can afford. Can’t figure out what this “on/off” switch is for on the derailleur. The manual was missing from the envelope on the bike.

    It’s probably the clutch mechanism that helps with chain tensioning to reduce chain slap. With it in the “ON” you have less chain slap than with it in the”Off” position. Enjoy your new bike!!

    I too have an Axum, with some nice upgrades, great starter bike, dont use as much now I went full squish
