Just got done trimming the perimeter of the back yard, trimmer ran out of gas just as I got done with the last inch, miracles do happen!

Just saw that Hulk Hogan is gone.

 

This big ole cloud would help deflecting some heat in the hot day.

Ours was 2009. We threw it in the garbage. Topline did a whole new 2 ton unit with pump for 4 k. Never could understand the lingo for central air units.

 

I know, ain’t that a kick in the nuts.??

Nothing much today. Haircuts today sometime... don't remember the exact time. Wife has it memorized. Should be fun... wife's hairdresser is easy on the eyes. I'll pick up a newspaper, act like I'm reading the obits, or want ads. I'm not dead yet.

oh....feesch pics, well then wednesday I think, i lose track of days, my buddy asked me to take him and his son, a Lt. in the Army fishin, as he hadn't been in over a year. so we went over to a couple of irrigation ponds I have permission to fish, water level was very low, and skies were very bright, they were pulling water out of the ponds hard. But he- we managed to eek out a couple....

We spent the night in Newton Falls, OH. The halfway point. Made it in about 9:15 last night. Not bad for the route we took.

Parts are non existant for a HVAC system that old unless it is a Lenox, but I am pretty sure there are no parts for that one either. I could be, and frequently am, wrong.

Good Morning. Trying to get on the road around 08:30 this morning.

 

Nice hike yesterday. Dog did really great. Some steep rocky scrambles she was in her element!

 

It took a little digging, but it looks like ours is a 23,800 BTU First Co unit installed in 2005; as I see it, I have two options, replace the motor and/or pump, or replace the whole unit with the current model which is supposed to be higher efficiency. As far as I can tell, the new unit is about $2,800 and installation would bring that price up to somewhere in the neighborhood of $4,000. I figure if I'm looking at a two-grand repair, I might just as well buy the newer and more efficient unit.

 

Per the First Co web site, replacement pumps and motors are available.

 

5:30am here on the west coast, kayak loaded up, heading out to get on the water soon. Classic overcast foggy summer morning here. It should be sunny later just as I get off the water and crowds show up....

 

Humidity is at 88% here. My clothes are stuck to me!
