    It only did it to me in heavy traffic, mostly when I approached a construction zone and folks were trying to merge lanes. I was glad for the heads up.

    Wait a year for your connected services to expire?

    But also, I think you can change different settings for navigation in the cog icon and also in the navigation screen. Have you checked both spots?
