I love being at the beach, just give me a pool. I don’t want to GO into the water. I’m content with morning and evening walks on the beach, but you’ll find me in the pool in the morning and afternoon, drankin on the patio otherwise, watching the sights and enjoying the breeze. I’m more of a “camp” kinda guy.

The beach isn’t terrible. Lots and lots of people though.

Spent two weeks at Avalon and stone harbor last summer.

Did the early morning beach stuff.
Then spent from 10-2ish on the beach each day with the fam and the crowds.
Then spent the afternoons at the pool and pool side bar.

Used to go every summer as a kid growing up when I lived back east.

Doing the entire Oregon coast top to bottom for two weeks here in a couple weeks.

Possibly doing Martha’s next year for a week or two.

I've been called so much worse LOL

Plus it was prefaced with a compliment so it's hard to take that the wrong way
But generally I have really thick skin

Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me kinda thing
People who claim words hurt them are to fragile . . . . prbly need a good punch in the face so they know what 'hurt' actually means

 

AND that is why you run in the mornin' !!
Then all day, you can say "I did some shit"

 

Nothing can slow you down grilling
