    I'd forgotten about this thread. Great shots in here. Here are a couple from May 2024 from my front yard in East Alabama when we had that huge G5 solar event. Never thought I would see the Aurora's from Cusseta Alabama. At times they were visible to the naked eye.

    Ah ok, I was gonna say, bring it way down and slow that shutter speed so you can get more motion blur from the flowing water.

    The issue is blurring the water, I lose the violent wave action. Too much loss of scale. Around there the river is about 1/4 mile wide. The bigger rocks are 5-10 feet high. Also that was done hand held.

    Ah gotcha. Def would need a tripod for motion blur. Hopefully you can shoot it again and show us the results.
