Thank goodness it's friday, peeps!

I took yesterday off and stupidly did a hike in the 90 degree heat. my ass was kicked for the evening.

Planning on going to a local peach festival tomorrow though! stoked for that.

 

Good after work gents. Got home about 20mins ago. Its smoking hot out there today. Weather is reading 101 in my area with a real feel of 114. Gross time to relax in the pool. We got a new set of steps in our pool so now the dogs can walk in and out on their own.

 

Lol after not driving my truck for 2 weeks I feel like I'm in a monster truck. I feel so high off the ground its throwing me off.

 

Good Moring all, little yard work this morning then an afternoon surprise 40th party . Stay cool all.

Good morning neighbor to the North.

I'll be outside for 30 minutes pulling weeds around perimeter of the house.

First, coffee & blueberry muffin.

 

My father called me up asking how froggy I'm feeling today. Asked why he said he wants to clean the side of the garage. I said lets wait till September when it cools off. Sorry pop but after working all week in this heat and crawling through attics and dirty kitchens I'm good.
Not sure where he gets these ideas from. But there is definitely cool days ahead of us to do that shit. Plus the amount of poison ivy that is back there I'm not about to be dying in this heat wave this week they are calling for and having a itchy ass.

 

Like I say, you have a story to tell...!

I just spent 30 minutes pulling weeds...nothing strenuous...maybe poking the screwdriver into the ground to get at the roots...

My entire shirt is drenched!

Use your weekend to relax...for sure!

 

It's humid in this building at work. Clocked in 20 after 2am and not a dry thread on me at 3am

 

That's terrible. Couldn't imagine. My area right is 80° with 85% humidity.

 

Im all for helping my pop but he just chooses to do shit in horrible weather conditions. Give me a day when its in the 50s or low 60s and I'm all about it.

 

Good morning. We spent the morning finsihing this small landing. A rainstorm interrupted us for about a 1/2 hour but we git 'er done.

 

my sister thinks I am a psycho because I pull the tops off my muffins and eat that first and leave the bottom for later.

 

Wasn't there a Sienfield episode about that ?
