Bear break-in?

    I certainly don't blame you, and guns aren't a bad thing. While watching arguments both for and against guns and bear spray - one thing they mentioned I didn't think of was if you have a rifle, while it might be high powered, if the bear gets to you quickly there's no way you'll be able to point a long gun at a bear or shoot the bear, esp if he's on top of you at that point.

    If you have distance and the time, and you don't want to take a chance, have at it for sure.

    I think there's many pros and cons for both spray and guns. And everyone should use what's best for them. I'm as 2a as anyone as an aside.

    Suomi - I def think that's a good argument about spray - esp in open country or on a plain where there's not cover, if there's wind, it may not work for you. Fair point.
