Hatchery Manager in SE Alaska often said, "Things could be worse." So one fine winter morning, while I was shoveling snow out from between the Weatherport tents that were our seasonal bunkhouse facility, he was plowing snow with the Cat 910 wheel loader. He stopped as I walked out from behind the tents, I climbed up on the loader and as he opened the door I said, "Things have been worse." Grins for both of us.

Graded the road for an hour and felt something on my ankle, this little fucker was sneaking out from the underside of the tractor I yeeted her into the woods.

 

Should have fed it to the chickens! Good protein.

Swamp Azz weather continues.
Dooo Point 74 right now. Crab grass cutting today, can't let it go for the end of the week.
Shit is wet and heavy and doesn't dry out. Still cutting weekly thanks to all the rain this year.
Gotta stay well hydrated today.
