I just bought the part number mentioned: 52521-35010 from PARTS.RIGHTTOYOTA. I’ll post back if they’re correct. $8.44 ea.

Hi all. On my 1996, the driver's side headlight filler became loose. In my coarse attempt to re-secure it while in the back country, I managed to break several of the clips in the grill this filler attaches to.

I've read in the early Tacomas, it's useless to replace the clips. One person mention using epoxy. I 'm just not sure what and how to reattach this filler. If I use epoxy for example, what am I applying it too? I wondered if pulling the grill is best and maybe just zip tying it from the back.

    Thanks for your input.

Answering my own question: I placed some adhesive (where the truck was located, all I had was blue Locktite) where the headlight filler touched against the grill. On the other side, the clips remained and still worked. Seems solid and hoping it will last, we'll see.
