The Timeless Taco wouldn't quite be my dream machine without it allowing me the ability to workout anywhere and everywhere. I love to utilize gymnastics rings and the slack line, but that is dependent on the environment having adequate trees and substantial horizontal branches at the correct height. Here's where the MaxPro Detroit comes into play!

A full gym that folds up and fits in a backpack!!! 5-300lb resistance with a turn of a dial, and it weighs less than 12lbs!!! So you guys already know I'm bringing this on hikes to get epic workouts in on mountain summits with astonishing views.

    Nice.

did you buy this, or your invention?

I’ve seen online Austen Alexander YT with hitch mounted pull up bar.
Clairepthomas with pull up bar on sprinter van.

I always wanted a pull up bar on my roof rack. I love pull ups.

best workout is intermittent throughout the day with breaks in between. Stack wins collect reps any time being productive.

rather than driving to a gym membership lit up like a job interview to stand in line behind broccoli head doing half reps in squat rack for half hour.

I really don't know why PB (SD, CA) does not have and outdoor gym.
SOBE Miami had one and it was very nice.
All I see is Mission Bay Park with a kid's playground.

I wonder if I can make it and patent it.
I do not see why there is a board walk, pier, lots of people
a bunch of bars charging $10 cover entry (not used to be that way) and a bar that's probably $10 Coors Light

but no gym...or skate park...or anything...

Not my invention unfortunately! hahah I'm just super into all the workout technology and pulled the trigger on this one! Only thing it's missing is eccentric resistance. But similar products with eccentric resistance are wayyyy more than I would spend. I've also used resistance bands, gymnastics rings, and a slackline on the road for many years and those are great really inexpensive options. But I'm blown away with this thing. I need to keep myself from working out too much everyday hahah. But really working out for me is such an integral component to my day, that these investments make sense to me. my mental health, workflow, digestion, really everything in my experience is better from working out. And I completely agree! working out outside is the bees knees. And as Arnold used to say, why tan outside laying around when you can get an even tan pumping hahah. I have been wanting to make a foldout setup that goes to the ground to mount my gymnastics rings on for so many years now!! It's very difficult to find substantial horizontal branches that are low enough for me to set my rings up on. As a result, the gymnastics rings have been my slowest evolving movements. I'm also a ninja warrior coach, so I'm into a lot of kookie unconventional training Ari starri Batona wharton-16.jpg Ari starri Batona wharton-20.jpg Ari starri Batona wharton-21.jpg Ari starri Batona wharton-24.jpg Ari starri Batona wharton-15.jpg

If anyone wants to share what they use to workout on the road, I'd love to see everyone's approach in here! here's some other tools I use push up board, slackline, resistance bands

That's an old photo (late 60's) of John Gill. A lot of older climbers, me included, consider him the father of modern bouldering. Typical gymnast turned climber strength but that one armed side lever is harder then hell. They make front levers seem easy. The only stupider climbing feat of strength was Wolfgang Gulich and his one arm, one finger pull-ups.

Gawdddd damnnnn! I'll have to look into that! One of my good friends worked at a climbing gym as a coach. I got to go over there and boulder a few times a week for a year. It's been 2 years since then, and I miss it a lot. need to get back out to a climbing gym. It's amazing how you achieve efficiency in these areas then you go and do something like climbing for the first time and you feel like you're learning how to walk hahah. Then when I went to ninja for the first time the first thing they told me was that I do everything too slow and controlled and I will burn myself out if I don't learn to let lose and use momentum. I love learning in all the new domains

hahah hell yeah! That would be sweet. Would fit my interior theme very well. Get some hiyo social tonics going. Have you ever tried the adaptogenic tonics? They are pretty sweet! no negative aftermath either. Quite a few brands making them these days

I rented a big ass 45 ft long class A RV during Covid, explored big sky country. That said I brought along the following to keep training.
    -50 lb weighted vest
    -kettlebells 30lb, 50lb, and 70lb
    -a load of bands
    -a 2” thick rope
I got in some great training with the above, but that device you posted is interesting and definitely has a place.
