CRUISE light does not come on when switch is pushed. Which fuse controls the cruise control?
If it's not a fuse, what are other possible problems?

    Is the ABS light on?

    Could be the spiral cable.

As for the fuses, The IG1 and IG1 No.2 fuses.
But you would likely have other issues. Not just Cruise Controls.

ABS light is not on. Will check fuses - 20A fuse under hood, 7.5A=ECU-B underhood. Also will check battery voltage

My go to step 1 diag on a Cruise Control issue is:

Turn the steering wheel to different spots and try turning on the Cruise Control.
I typically Turn the Wheel all the way to the left, then rotate the wheel right a little press the Cruise Button.
Turn the wheel a little more, try again......

If that doesn't work, then I move on other checks....

(Actually, I lied. I plug in a scan tool first. Scan for codes. Or modules offline. But.......anyways)

I haven’t found a fuse for my daughter’s 2006 prerunner. I changed the switch, didn’t work. Just ordered a replacement spiral cable. Hopefully that’s it. Horn works also. No codes.

    Check your brake light switch.
