So I just picked up a pair of fox 2.5 factory race with the DSC for the front of my truck (3rd gen trd sport). Currently trying to decide what to do with the back. I know that the obvious choice would be 2.5 dsc in the rear, but that’s a lot of money to justify, when I don’t do a whole lots of hard off roading. I was thinking about doing the 2.0 with the CD (pic below). These are still adjustable (I believe just low speed). What are y’all’s thoughts? Would these still provide me a quality on road feel?

Yeah those will work just fine. The vast majority of people do not need 2.5 shocks on their Tacoma (myself included, despite having 2.5). Most of us just go to a 2.5 for the resi or adjusters. You really only need the larger shocks if you are doing extended periods on washboard or desert where you need to extra cooling capacity.

Those Fox 2.0 resi with adjusters are kinda a sweet spot in the market cause they give the best of both worlds, low cost but rebuildable and adjustable. I wish they made a front coilover to match.

Buy them from Accutune though so they can re-valve before shipping. They will ride much better than the factory Fox tuning which is pretty firm.

Those shocks are one of the softest riding on road shocks that are available for the Tacoma!

It is common for them to be paired with the 2.5 remote reservoir in the front, they are even included in our Stage Kits.

We have them in stock and ready to ship, keep in mind free tuning is included with all of our orders.
