My wife and I would like a camping trailer, but having a '22 DCLB 4x4 limits things with its payload capacity. However, I'm also 6' 2", and deal with some serious lower back issues, so I need a trailer with an interior height of at least 6' 3" so I'm not having to hunch over when inside. Has anyone found a lighter weight trailer with sufficient interior height? We haven't scoured all the RV dealerships in the area, but we have been to a few and all the ones we've looked at so far have either been too short inside (Casita/Scamp at ~5' 10" interior height), or others that are somewhat rounded shapes in the front and back (RPOD styles, and some other brands) which don't leave enough interior height for the bathroom/kitchen/etc depending on floorplan (for example - rear bath floorplans and the shower is un-usable due to not enough headroom with the rounded rear ceiling).
Its just the two of us, so we don't need extra sleeping options for guests.
It will be parked under a carport when not used.
I've done several searches, but I haven't found the right unit yet. Perhaps there is no perfect option for our situation, and if we want a trailer badly enough, we'll need to upsize the truck to accommodate one that is larger, but I really don't want a full size truck for the other 90% of the time I'm using it as a commuter. Thought I'd ask here first before throwing in the towel just in case some of you have found brands/models I've overlooked that may work. Thanks!

These are a few of the lighter campers we came across before purchasing.

We ended up going with a Bushwhacker teardrop style. That will not work for you but they have a few rear door squared off models now. These are all less than 3500 lb and listed at 6'2"-6'6" interior. That could be standing with your head in the roof vent or the whole trailer, I don't know. Unfortunately, in everything we looked at in the smaller and lighter range, even if the living space had good headroom the shower is going to be cramped and short.

This may also be an option. Interior is listed at 6’4” and very light weight.

The concept is interesting but I have no idea on the quality.
