So i replaced my OEM pads and rotors with some RAYBESTOS 976H980670E3 Pad and Rotor kit from Rock Auto. Truck has about 80K miles.

After just two or 3 months on the new rotors/pad (~2000 miles) they are now having an issue where after they warm up...after a few brake engagements on any drive, they start to feel like there is some kind of metal on metal grind and likely pulsating feeling, mostly as im getting to lower speeds (below 30). The first two or so brake applications always feel fine, it only seems to become an issue after they get hot.

I purchased a new set of OEM rotors and pads, but curious if there is a chance its only the pads causing the issue. I hate to toss this new hardware, but not sure how to isolate only the pads or if its only the rotors or mix of both.

If i install the new pads on warped rotors, will it ruin the new pads? Just curious if i can salvage any of the new stuff. Lesson learned, I'm going OEM for everything now.
