For me the days of engine and suspension modding are over so I add things for convenience, to make it look a bit better and protection items. I added, OEM tube steps, OEM pre-painted body side moldings, both of which almost eliminate door dings, OEM letter inserts for the tailgate, I bought and installed the three parts needed to make the tailgate dampened, wide Weathertech mud flaps to keep the bedsides from getting chipped, OEM console safe, removed the ridiculous front air dam and put plugs in the control arms, plugged in seatbelt extension to keep the insane seatbelt warning from going off then bought Carista to turn off the nonsense, the truck came with the OEM bedmat and full size spare, and of course the SW U.S. mandatory window tint.

I envy your optimistic view of such matters. I wish it worked like that but it doesn’t.

    Real world:

LEO writes a ticket and you get to take off work to go to court. Liar tells the same lie to the judge since there’s nothing to refute their claim. Best scenario is the fkwad doesn’t show up and the DA offers a non moving violation fine you can plead to. Or you can take off work again for your future court date.

Innocent until proven guilty is a fine concept, but experience says otherwise. Smart people realize you gotta be able to prove yourself innocent.
