Another P0110 code thread

Hello 1st gen family. I'm trying to check the AIT sensor wires on my '95 2.7 truck for bad connections. Looking/need a wiring diagram. Y-B and B-Blk wires. Replaced sensor with new in box sensor, same symptoms. Rough idle, misfiring stupid.
I replaced the aftermarket distributor that came in the truck with a factory Denso dizzy a couple weeks ago and the truck had been running great.... until it wasn't.... again. Please send help to this thread, I'm about to drop kick this &**&^%%$&** !!

 

Best I got until someone can find me a connector pinout for the IAT sensor plug.

Thank you Shooter. I looked again it is Y-G, not Y-B. Probably saw Y-G wire then immediately thought blue lol!!
The PDF is cut off on the right hand side of the file, I'm not versed well enough on these test procedures. Meaning; I can't make the connection in my old brain so I can do the continuity test at the harness, or ECM terminals without all the text showing up for me. BUT, that file is EXACTLY what I was asking for brother! Only if I could read the rest of it.

FWIW, you can do a continuity check from the Brown/Black on the Throttle Position Sensor to the Brown/Black on the IAT sensor.

 

If you can't open a PDF file, let me know.
I can try to screen capture and post a direct picture here.

(But TW compresses the files for some reason, and makes them a bit blurry at times)

 

Do you have a scan tool that can view live data?

If so circuit integrity can be verified very easily.

 

Indeed it would.
The data for the scan tool was in the file I posted in post 2.
I think OP might be hiving a hard time opening PDFs.

 

OP if you have a scan tool, look at live data of the IAT.

 

I'm able to open them, it was that one file was cut off.
My son has the live data scanner, I'm still with a code reader at this point in the game. He's hard headeder than I'm is... he must be teasing me, or just won't let dad use it!! Boy, I say BOY! Bring me that scanner@!

Will do, probably tomorrow. I just had to diagnose my '89 SR5 that wasn't starting when you posted that. Let it sit for a few months this time. Had to jump fuel pump terminals at the test block, fired right up.

 

So far the only codes it is throwing is for the IAT sensor. I got the live data scanner and got a few readings. I have verified the IAT sensor is checking good w/ohm meter, and that there is 5v to the connector at the sensor. Live data shows it is reading ambient outdoor temps (86f). Still misfiring like mad. Still getting used to the fuel trim and 02 sensor readings. will come back after lunch

 

Throwing my .02 cents in. It seems that where there are odd issues with these trucks that an inspection of the PC board in the PCM is in order, just to eliminate that.
