, I think I just got lucky!
Opened the door and went outside to see if it was raining, thought my black and white kitty was at the food dish when I noticed a really bushy tail sticking up in the air, it was a skunk that was about 4' away from me, it was facing me and the business end was pointed in the other direction which is probably why I didn't get sprayed!

First day of retirement. Slept in till 6:30, that's better than 3 or 4 am. Having coffee in bed with my wife and a couple of kitties. Then off to church today to pack boxes of food for the needy.
I celebrated my retirement yesterday by working a half day, having a retirement lunch at work and then came home and worked on my mini split installation some more. I'm about 80% done on it now. Most time was spent drilling holes in brick.
Inside air handler is now hung.
    20250731_164450.jpg
I still have to make the final refrigerant line connection and electrical work. I need to pick up a 20 amp 220 breaker and a short length of wire. The cover for the lineset makes for a clean looking install.
    20250731_190433.jpg
It'll be nice when I can remove the window unit and get our window back. Our kitties love to lay in the window.

Nice project to be finished with. The weather in Caseville has been decent the last 2 days but pretty hot Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Good morning. Fishinging trip was cancelled due to high winds. Captain was apologetic but I told him it really is not a problem. You just cannot control the weather.
Researching the 2024 Tacoma and looking at the dealers websites is interesting to say the least. I think all the remaining SR and SR5 trims are only in Ice White. One dealer had about 3 SR5's and used the sticker, VIN number, and option description of a TRD Sport vehicle. This is a huge dealer in the DC area. Their website left a lot to be desired.

I know I will be haggling with the one dealership that we have set up a test drive with on Monday. Their document fee is $799.

Well I am a wood worker and I also mill my own lumber. Here in Michigan some people in the northern rural areas call loggers woodticks as an insult. I wear it as a badge of honor. It's just kinda stuck with me over the years and now it identifies me.
