its actually probably more than 200lbs less than most peoples dblbs since its an sr trim. honestly i would swap the rxts to stage 3. swap the shocks out (highly recommend something with adjustable compression). then base your bump stop setup from there. your basically gona be at stock height up front unlike most people lifted at 2"+ so your truck shouldn't end up squatting that much. for reference heres my access cab rxts on option 1. lifted 2" up front and 900lb in the bed

Yeah that’s what I’m planning to do. Switch to stage 3 and install camper and build out and see how we look/feel and do a few test runs off road.
Any suggestions on the shocks? I was just gonna do a 6112 in front and 5160 in back

go with a 2.5" body shock with compression adjustment. its worth it when dealing with that much extra weight imo. 5160s are great unloaded but will blow through travel and sway with that much extra weight. personally i run the matching icon rxt shocks and think their great. can adjust for extra weight and back to unloaded easily.

I’m running the Ride 2.5s (made by Accutune) and really like them. They have different weight ranges and the adjusters on them are fantastic. Definitely pricier than the Bilsteins but comparable to Fox or King 2.5s.

Also this is option 3 with no weight beside sliders, and just under 1” lift in the front. Waiting on my camper to get built at the moment. Definitely a little bouncy but with the shocks it’s manageable.

I’m aligned with this answer as well. I’d recommend 2.5s all around for that weight, BUT if you have to save a dollar somewhere, blow the budget on the rear shocks and control that inertia as best you can.

What camper did you purchase? All of these suggestions are pricy but if it will help with the off road and on road experience could be worth it.

Definitely worth it if you plan on going out a lot IMO.

Yeah I pounded on them and then got new ones. too bad the shop busted my discharge line when replacing the front steering box or adjusting the coilovers

Super Pacific. I had an Alu-Cab topper & RTT which came out to around the same weight as the SP, and it rode great.

Nice I was looking at the SP. Show some pics once it’s on the truck. The camper I’m looking at is similar in weight.

Hello everyone, so I've been through the RTX forum and I'd like to clarify some of the information in regards to my specific application of the springs.
I have a 2023 TRD Pro that has the factory 1" lift blocks in the back. I currently have a alu cab contour canopy, auxiliary battery system, storage system, Dometic 55L fridge, and a 120 watt solar panel mounted on the canopy. I'm estimating the weight at least around 300 and am setting the leafs up for option #2. My question is.. I'm assuming the Icon lift estimates are based on a stock suspension without the added 1" block? So based on that assumption at option #2 I would subtract the 1" lift block which should put me around 0.75 of lift with 200 pounds in the bed? I'm currently sitting at 22" in the front and 21 1/8 in the back. I've watched a few youtube videos and they ended up at 24" in the rear at option #1... so i'm a little perplexed at how to set these up, I'd like to stay within the confines of the factory Pro suspension yet I'd really like to put some carrying capacity back into the rear of the vehicle. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think option 2 is for you

I agree. A little unsure on what kind of lift I’d be looking at though… don’t want a stink bug situation with not being able to adjust the front to accommodate, yet really don’t want to go down the rabbit hole of replacing the entire suspension system before it’s time.

I second option 2, I don’t think you’ll stink bug. You’ll have some rake but not too bad at that weight.

Yes, I think option 2 is the way to go. The presence of the lift block on the TRD pro is what kind of throws me off. Icon states 1.75” of lift from stock at option #2 yet that only applies if I leave the lift block in place. So I ordered a 1/2 block in case it’s too high. Thought I could get rid of the block but guess that’s not the case.

Posting this for others, will take accurate clearance measurements if anyone wants.

stage two, with about about ~250-275 pounds (canopy + bed drawer build out). Personally glad I didn’t go full stage three, I am no longer bottoming out so much and the ride is much nicer. I think stage three might be a bit too harsh while not fully loaded with gear.

FYI first pic is just with the new leaf pack and second is new leaf pack + ~1.5 inch front lift.IMG_6697.jpg IMG_6718.jpg

Looks great! I have a similar build but have an RTT on top which adds about 130lb. I went with the stage 3 as I think the total weight of canopy, drawers, rack, tent and basic gear is around 400lb. No issues at the moment and the ride isn't too harsh. I usually tank the tent off in the winter so we will see what happens with ride quality when that happens.

curious how it will feel wo/the rooftop tent. I imagine it will be fine. I bet I will change out to stage three once I swap out the canopy for a pop up in the near future, but for now its perfect.

A stock TRD Pro has a 1/2" lift block in back. The 1in lift block is with the TRD Lift Kit.
