Any options on rod storage using the back seat area specifically? Thanks

do people sit on the back seat?
i was able to put a 2-pc 9’ salmon rod under the back seat on the carpet. i put the handle section under the seat that my teenager sits on. seems to have not been affected.

edit: there was some scratches on the rod finish, from rubbing each other, but i bet if each part was in its own sleeve, it would be fine.

i was trying ro see if i had any pics, because i took it out of the truck because i prefer to use a longer
rod. but i cant seem to find any. i know the tip was sticking out past the seat to the side panle, so preferably a rod shorter than 9’ (or 4.5’ sections should be fine
