Did you have any of the front axle nuts off recently? If so the nut might not be tight enough. I had this happen. It allows the disk to wander in and out which opens up the caliper. Then when you step on the brakes one caliper is closed more than the other so it grabs first and pulls the truck.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
But if your bearings are good, there shouldn't be any runout, at least not enough to spread the pads. The axle nut doesn't stop that. And, the rotor is held in place by the wheel.

Yes, the axle nut holds the hub race and bearing together. So if its not tight the whole hub assembly with the disk can move in and out. Ask me how @bkhlrTaco's and I know this.lol

I would've assumed that if the hub is pressed into the bearing that it would be more secure than that. Learn something new every day...

I had the nut tightened past the hole in the axle shaft, where the cotter pin goes.
Fugger was tight. Couldn't tighten it anymore.
Not sure if the axle was bound or not lined up right....when I went back in to check it I got several more threads worth of tightening out of it.

Moving parts on a 5000lb truck.... Sometimes things get lose.

Bouncing off trees/rocks/submerged obstacles probably doesn't help :D

I think sparky also had something similar…or maybe it was loose wheel bolts that caused the same effect on the brakes.

Any solar geeks care to chime in on this panel? Thinking or mounting this on my roof rack permanently to keep my battery generator box charged up without relying on having to drive several hours.

Does this “shade flux” technology solve any real problems compared to their normal mono-crystaline panel? Can a little bit of shade actually cause the regular panels to overheat and drop off charging power like they are claiming?

    Any other thoughts or advice?

This is the shadow flux model:
