Well, tomorrow, I hope to be a new Tacoma owner. I searched and researched until my head spun and finally settled on a 2015, double cab, 6' bed, TRD Sport 4wd, mint condition, 30k miles.

I am paying a pretty high price in my opinion, $34k...but...it is a rare find that I couldn't pass up.

    What do you think?

If that's what you want, and you keep vehicles a long time (10+ years) AND it has led a salt free life AND never in a major accident, it's still pricey.

Ask a CU what loan is, ask your agent what payout of a total is. That's the real value, regardless of what the market may bear.

But what I think is that doing all that stuff in advance of a purchase is the key. Not asking internet strangers after the fact.

    (PS, I'm a 2g fan BTW)

I would be paying cash. I normally keep vehicles forever. This would be the exception as I am selling my 2021 Nissan Frontier with 86k miles. I just don't trust it to last much past it's 100k warranty.

I've done all my research and was just looking for affirmation...not that I care what people think. Lol

The 2015 repeatedly got the "Best Tacoma Year" in my research.

Although I too am a cash buyer, that's not my point regarding the CU or insurance agent (both actually).

Determining what loan is shows the basic value of any vehicle.
