Film has certainly gone extremely expensive. Not for the casual hobbyest for sure! As for finding a digital camera that you can use your older lenses with, as long as the mount is correct, most all digital cameras will work with manual focus and manual aperture lenses. Now on your lenses, it really depends on what you plan to shoot. I would DEFINATELY keep the 50mm at all costs! It is one of the best portrait lens options, and is closest to what the natural human eye sees. I would look at dropping the 135 and the 200 would reasonably fit the bill for a telephoto length. The 28 I would keep if you like shooting wide angle stuff.

Purchased a Nikon D500 recently...absolutely love it! Had a D7000 for 7-8 before this one.

Sony A7R2. Feels so archaic even at a few years old but the MP count and dynamic range are super nice not to mention the body size.

Still a solid camera all these years later.

I switched over to Sony from Nikon. Currently using the A7c mark II. Awesome little camera. It's light and compact, which produces great photos and video, too. One thing to highlight is the AF.. It's ridiculously accurate and sharp. Highly recommend if it's within the budget.

The Sonys are really strong for sure. The thing that Sonys do better than Nikon are VIDEO. So not only are you getting a strong still camera, you get the strength of its video.

Sony has been a heavy hitter in low light situations.

I completely agree. Granted, I came from an entry level Nikon, but I did some research before and everyone kept highlighting Sony’s low light capabilities and the auto feature. I’m still learning to use the camera but it’s a great jump in tech.

That ferris wheel shot is really nice, shows the strength of the Sony in night scenes. :headbang:
