I replaced the front main seal and harmonic balancer (notice the old one had quite a worn groove) on my '97 2.7L 4x4 Taco, cleaned it up, and there is a still a leak coming from the crankshaft. I made sure to install the new seal flush with the timing cover, I lubed it up, I torqued the crankshaft bolt to 192 ft lbs. The crank snout didn't show any obvious signs of wear.

The only other thing I can think of is that the Corteco harmonic balancer I got is not a good fit for the Taco? Does anyone have any other suggestions? Ive included a photo of the new leak.IMG_0107.HEIC.jpg
