How to keep Apps when syncing iPod?

My Dad has an ipod touch that I think is synced to our home computer. I got a Macbook Pro for school and have alot more songs on my itunes than we have on the home computer so he wants me to sync his ipod to my macbook. can he do that and still keep the apps he's bought?

If you do that, will earse everything on the ipod.
If you have a PC at home, you can set up multi account for your dad, whatever the apps he get, usually is under user name\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Mobile Applications. Move and copy all the apps from the existing account to the new account that you just make. If they earse the app while it sync, just double click the apps icons under user name\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Mobile Applications. It will sync it back to the ipod.
