I have been using the search tool to find a Dirtbox Overland related thread but not able to, so I am using this thread to showcase my journey with Dirtbox Overland Canopy Camper, my likes and dislikes, my mods and my trips with it.
My truck is 2021 Tacoma Trd-Offroad.
Dirtbox Overland camper purchased April 2025.
I have details to each mods I put on the camper, just need some time to organize and post them here. Stay tuned.

little bit of history of my setup.
I have ran the lower profile mid height rack with an RTT hanging over the back of the bed for a year, and then experimented with the full height bed rack with RTT hanging over the front of the bed for a good 2-3 months. Then due to personal reasons, I didn't want to wait for the full camper version of that and pulled the trigger on the dirtbox overland camper.

    Installation day.
Dirtbox was pretty quick in terms of shipping the camper out to my local installer.
It was their first dirtbox overland camper, so the installer was taking their time to be thorough, good install over all.

I decided to drill the side door for a heater vent within the first week of owning the camper, this would come in really handy for cold weather camping days, being able to feed the hot air without opening the tent section. Was definitely a nerve wracking experience, but i think it's worth it.
