Hey guys. I have an ‘04 DC prerunner, and was looking to get a set of 15x8 American Racing Outlaw II. Is anyone running these wheels or know if they won’t fit? I’m planning to wrap them in 33x10.5 or 33x12.5, haven’t decided yet. My stock wheels were the 16” alloys, for reference. Attached are pictures of the wheel and my truck as it currently sits. Yes I have searched for old threads.image.png IMG_8532.jpg

If your brakes are stock, it may work.

If you ever want to upgrade the front calipers and rotors to something that makes the truck safe, 15’s are too small.

Is the Tundra brake upgrade that needed?

These are older 15x8 -19 AR outlaws with 33x12.5r15 KO2 and it lifted 2 inches in front and 2.5 inches in the rear.

I modified the pinch welds and the caster is maxed out. It rubs only at full lock and during compression.

I thought so when I had upgraded to heavy 31.8” tires (265/75r16) and with the traffic I was driving in and constantly being cut off, it was cheaper and safer to upgrade the brakes rather than rear end some stupid person. That was even before I had an actual camper on my truck so it was relatively stock weight other than a ~100lb aluminum contractor shell.

I have American Racing 15x8 baja rims on my truck with 3.75 back spacing.
They fit my stock brakes with no problems.

For anyone who might come in future looking for info on the American Racing Outlaw IIs in 15x8, I now have them on with 33x10.5 General Grabber X3s and they are very nice. No complaints at allIMG_9080.jpg IMG_9061.jpg
