MyQ is such a handy app. So nice to not have to take your glove off, get off the bike, open the door, and get back on.

And no, totally havent done the door drop disappearing act for *reasons* involving a WRX.

I carry my garage door opener in my front left pants pocket with the button out. When I round the corner to my house I hit the button and ride right in.

I've been thinking of getting another remote to carry on me when riding. My garage has the MyQ thing....well... HAD the MyQ thing. I set it up when they installed in a few years back and it worked, but I never needed it. Fast forward a few years and I thought I'd start using it. NOPE. i think the Wifi part of it died. Tried a million things to get it connected and it has simply never worked again.

I started as a remote in pocket person, but realized I forgot it half the time, but never forgot my phone, so an easy choice.

Can't recall if it was in here, or on facebook I saw someone pulled a remote apart, hid it in the frame, and wired a button on their handlebars. Was kinda cool.

How can you forget it if you use it to close the garage door when you leave?

I did that with one of my remotes. I have it in a waterproof bag, tied up by my headstock. Ran a wire and switch up to my left grip. Press the button coming up the street, and the door's open when I get there.

A buddy and I went for a burger...60 miles away. He's given up (more like his wife gave up) his riding on two wheels and only has his Ural sidecar unit left. He's 78 and has Miniere's, which up until recently had been under control. His wife's afraid he's going to fall over while riding. He's conceded that both his WeeStrom and his BMW are borderline too heave to move around by himself...so Ural it is.

Mine's the little Bandit. It's a 400/4, little screamer! So much fun to ride.

Was it me posting mine like, three days ago? lol working on version 3 right now, actually

I'd have the bike pulled out, gear all out, backing down the driveway and then realize I'd forgotten it, so have to go inside and find it in whatever jacket I left it in, go back out and get all up on again. I've been digging just having hidden ones on the two bikes I ride the most and never having to worry about it.

This is where it's at on my 701. 9/10 people would probably never notice it.

Push the bike out to the driveway and use the keypad on the outside to close it while I get my gloves on and let the bike warm up for a sec.

Yes, your way would make sense, just not how my brain works.

Funny, been working on it again this week.

V2 on the left, V3 on the right. Will need to do a little more work on it, I need to widen the holes for the heat inserts that the screws go into. It’s pushing out too much goo and making the snap fit fit terribly. But added in the wings to zip tie or velcro the box anywhere. And yeah, still a flat back so you could VHB or velcro tape it somewhere, too.

Funniest part in my opinion, all the cad work has been done in the elementary-school targeted online cad program Tinkercad
