    Hey everyone,

Recently purchased my first ever truck (new leftover 2024 Tacoma TRD OR) and since I ended up not going for the premium package, I'd like to get some seat covers for the interior to protect the cloth. I'm debating the perforated PVC covers from Clazzio based on price and people's recommendations, but I'm a little concerned about whether spills can seep through the perforations or if there is a layer underneath that protects the seat below it. Does anyone have any insight on this, general insight as to whether it discolors the fabric seats over time, or any other recommendations?

I'd like to think I'm not that big of a slob, but things happen, ya know...

Which OTHER seat covers did you consider? And why did you pick Clazzios?
I just want to cover front seats…..

I'm looking at a lot of different ones...EKR was another one, Rough Country looks like they have nice ones as well. Clazzio seems to have a great reputation, but I'm not dead set on leather or PVC/Vinyl or any brand...I just want something that looks decent, compatible with heated seats, hopefully costs less than $500 and above anything else, protects the seat beneath it!

Thought you were further along in your decision……
I had Rough Country on my 2nd Gen…….great value for $, well made, but they were not going to last ore than 2 years…..EKR is an Amazon product so thats a negative for me……haven’t seen a Clazzio up close….so it’s only reputation……and I started a thread about Coverland…….over 150 views, ot one actual testimonial

    My 2 cents
I was a BIG fan of Clazzio on my 2007 truck -- They fit so awesome people thought it was factory.

When that truck got destroyed I got some Clazzios in my 2024 and while they look great I am not 100% happy how the seat cushion part fits.
I had them installed by an upholstery shop -- Next time I would just do it myself, I expected a better fit or a better install not sure what caused the problem but I wish I spent a lot less on this project when it is all said and done.

Honestly, the EKR from Amazon fit really well. I'm very impressed for the cost.

    How much $
How long do you expect them to last?
    Leather, or faux leather?

I paid $200 during prime days.
    Fake leather, but high quality.
I hope to get many years out of them.
    Here's the EKR fit:

That looks nice! I will definitely consider those!

I found a page from Clazzio answering my questions about the perforation here: https://www.clazzio.com/blog/2016/1...water-on-the-perforated-leather-what-happens/

Can anyone else attest to the perforations for other brands? Is there a backing or absorbent cushion/layer on EKR that you know of?

My EKR's are perforated, but there was definitely foam backing on the backside. Can't recall if the foam backing was also perforated or not, but either way it would probably let heavy spills through.

I’ve had Clazzio on my 2 previous Tacomas. This go around, I couldn’t see spending twice as much and got the EKRs off Amazon.

My in-laws had the dealer install Katskin's in their '25 4Runner, they look better than the any of the Toyota OEM leather seats I've seen. I' was planning on doing EKR but after seeing the Katskin's I might do that.

    Clazzio seat covers,
Second go around with Clazzio ... 11 years on my '14 Prerunner and now on my '25. Nothing but compliments ... works for me.

After some research, I have narrowed down my choices to EKR as my first choice and Clazzio as my second choice. In terms of costs, I'm categorizing Clazzio as a second choice. I'm ready to order seat covers for my '24 Taco. How do you like the EKRs from Amazon?

    I'm sure they're nice, but I've heard they're pricey.

I just bought EKR’s and will be returning them. The piping on the seat corners is identical to the Luckyman covers I was using before, and it began to fall apart after a couple years.

I don’t want to keep buying seat covers every couple years, so am probably going with the Clazzio.

So far so good. I don’t know about long term, but can buy 2 sets of ekr for less than one set on Clazzio.
