A question for those folks with the TruXedo Lo Pro bed cover, does the cover interfere with the use of the rail cleats on the cab or on the sides of the bed. I can’t seem to find this information on the web. Thanks

Did you check the Truxedo (RealTruck) website and look at the installation instructions? Looks like each side will have three 2-2 1/2" plates installed on the rails. You'll have to figure out which open slot area you want the cleats while installing the cover mounts and then have limited room to slide them fore/aft. You could also get an extra set of cleats and have one in each "open" area on the rail.

I do know that the revolver x4s rollup covers do interfere with the cleats. i removed the tightening knob and put a bolt in place as the knob is what is affected. I actually went a little full tard than that, designed and laser cut my solution, but its not much of an improvement.

I suspect the majority of the covers that mount to the rails will have some interference. at the min you will be severly impacted by where you can even place them.

Thanks for all the info. From what I can determine, it appears that Truxedo lowest price cover has the least interference with the rails as it sits higher. I might end up with that model.

I had a Lo Pro on my 3rd generation. There are 3 brackets that attach to the bed rail, as pictured above. other than that, you can move the cleats as needed.
