Love the suspension on my 2021 TRD Pro, except that I'd like to run 33s when these tires wear out AND I would love to ditch the forward rake. It's my daily, plus weekend fun on forest roads and two tracks (in MI so not a lot of rocks or anything crazy).

Is the Wescott kit below good for this or would it negatively affect the suspension? I don't want to place a lot of extra stress on anything just for cosmetics... Thoughts?

If nothing else I could just go the pizza cutter route...

I ran these for 4 years with no issues. A lift won't keep you from rubbing with larger tires though, especially when articulating at full steering lock.

Look into 255/85r16 tires. They'll rub less than 285/75's and are about the same diameter.

Yeah it's mainly the tire choices that I don't like on the thinner tires, thus I was looking into this. I have 17x8 +0 wheels so I was hoping I could get away with 285/70 or similar with the level, but maybe I'm thinking about it wrong.

With a good alignment, maybe some adjustable UCAs, and a little plastic trimming it's totally possible to run those tires without rubbing.

If you go into with that mindset and don't expect things to be perfect right away you'll be fine. Besides a little rubbing never hurt anything.

If you have a Pro and want to keep the Pro suspension, then the Westcott lift is the best option.

No notes as for the collar lift, but I'll mention the effects of leveling a truck of you ever load anything in it. It takes no weight on the stock leaf pack to squat it down, once leveled you see/feel that far more and driving with a high front end is very unpleasant. There's a reason trucks have a front to back rake.

^ that's a good point. I did an AAL when I put on the collar lift, and eventually wound up doing a full leaf pack once that began sagging too.

OP here's a pic of my truck back in 2020 right after I put on the collar lift, AAL, and 285s on the stock Pro wheels + 1.25" spacer, making them about a -7et.

That's definitely a good point.. which is why I asked, I knew there'd be some real world experience here - thanks

I just measured and there's only about a 1" drop in the front so I'm thinking I'll just forget it for now and maybe down the road I just do everything at once when I'm ready to upgrade from the Fox stuff. Otherwise I'll end up with collar lift, UCA, AAL, and so on with shocks/struts that are already 4 years old...

Depending on use and mileage you may have a ton of life left in those shocks. I didn't take off my stock sport suspension until 160k I think and it was still good after being hammered down back roads alot.

At the end of the day I would say stock height do some minor trimming and have some castor added in and you "should" clear 95% of the time without a 285. If your in doubt just do a bfg 285 as it's a touch smaller than other brands

After a bunch of research I went the eibach spring and AAL route and have no regrets.

Went Eibach my Tundra and they were awesome, despite not getting the love of some others.
