Smoke visibility here has been so bad at times that you can only see about a mile or two.

About 100 here today. No humidity. Just finished my pool exercise routine. Now I’m going to clean up my grill and then grill beef ribs with Chaka sauce on them. Also have a salad and some corn on the cob and an ice cold beer. It’s tough being retired but I deal with it. (If you’ve never tried Chaka sauce it’s indescribably good on beef ribs and chicken. It’s manna from Heaven)

Good morning. 62° here this morning. Great morning for a longer walk. Taking my wife out for a late lunch today at Kent Narrows on the eastern shore. Bay Bridge traffic is notorious bad on Friday crossing the bridge. My son has put together a songwriter showcase at Cult Classic tonight. Starts at 7 so we will have a late lunch and maybe some shopping at Queenstown Outlets.

Only job I have today is to restring sons guitar.

Yesterday did some cleaning and rearranged the garage to allow his truck into the left bay. I still need to move the shop vac if I feel up to the job. Retirement is fun.

Up early for a retiree. Serving at the church today packing boxes of food to be distributed tomorrow. Today is the work part of it, tomorrow is the fun part loading boxes of food into cars for people in need. Most people are very grateful for what they get. It's a very rewarding way to serv.
