    Yes. They are nice. I bought one from harbor freight. Worked ok for small job. Loaned it to neighbor and he messed it up. But he did pay me back so theres that.

    I think Bauer brand is ok. The central machinery brand is a one or two job and toss it in trash.

    Today's HF isn't the same as 25 years ago.

    Obviously if you buy a $9.99 grinder you will still get about what you pay for. :laugh:

    I believe thier mid tier tools have moved into the retail space that Craftsman, Skill and Black & Decker held years ago.

    Back then they were good quality tools for home shop guys & light commercial.

    Dad bought a couple of the green ones they had, back before Bauer was a thing :thumbsup:

    I saw an old radial arm saw the other day that said Dewalt on the head and Black and Decker on the motor. It was old!!! I couldn't take a picture in the building we were in but I wanted to :evil:

    Wasn't worth it, we were in the R & D building of a major mattress manufacturer with some pretty cool stuff and I'd hate to go against the paper I signed saying I wouldn't take photos :eek:

    My friends is a Dewalt. I remember something about SDS and I think I saw an SDS2. I have no idea about that, but may be worth a little reading/research…

    Most are good for low use, low tolerance. If you’re doing precision or heavy/pro use, you’re shopping wrong. Smoke is rarely a good indicator.
