For someone that actually knows this answer,

Are the factory leafs on the 3rd gens just always flat from the manufacturer? I've loaded it down many times and I'm looking to replace them if I've flatten'd them.

I'm not looking to change the spring rate, or height. So add a leafs won't work, and I don't want a lift.

New leafs are $550+ each so.

Yes they are rather flat leafs even when new.

If you get new leafs then also get sumo springs rear bump stop replacements. Does not add height but when you are loaded it will assist in the sag. So if it’s assisting then it’s also extending the life of your leafs imo. The ride is good because it’s not a typical bump stop- ‘progressive’ because of the foam

Installed a set of Total Chaos bed stiffeners last night. Followed the instruction and managed to snap the M6 x 1.0 bolt. 10 ft/lbs my butt! Extracted the broken bolt, grabbed a replacement, and rocked on! Pleased with the outcome. I swear the truck drives/rides better!

General Spring KC has SD leafs that match the height and spring rate of the factory height and HD option for a stronger spring and about 1.5" lift.

This kit doesn't provide any lift. It allows you to run the LCA up to an 1" forward giving you more firewall clearance, provides ~2" more ground clearance, and just also way beefier than the stock control arm mounts since its built out of 1/4" steel. I'm only running ~2.5" of lift, not a fan of the typical sky high hawaii builds lol.

May be a little late now- but the double shear tabs for the UCA are worth adding while you're in there!

Also a benefit you didn't mention is the much beefier 'ears' that hold the alignment cams in position compared to the flimsy stock ones.

Where did you end up with the LCA spacers- mine are currently centered- I'm curious if you have any alignment challenges if you have the LCA set in the most forward position?

Double sheer will go on when I put the LT kit on, eventually lol. But I'm at a full 1" forward with TC UCAs. I posted my alignment in the JD thread if you wanna take a look.
