I recently ordered some rough country uppers for my Tacoma and when I went to put them on they don’t fit in the bracket so I sent them back thinking the bearings weren’t pressed in all the way. and I ordered the same ones again and they don’t fit either is there a reason for this? The oem ones slide right in.

Bad quality control by the manufacturer?

It might help if you explained in more detail what is not fitting.

where you slide the bolt threw the upper control arm the inside of the upper control arm bushing is too wide not allowing it to slide onto the mount. Sorry I will take a picture in the morning just explaining it to the best of my ability

So, I’m having the exact same issue as we speak. What did you end up doing?

Try pushing the bushings into the arm more?

Maybe its supposed to be a tight fit

Though of that, but they don’t want to budge. Also don’t want to destroy my brand new pair of UCAs. Just going to return them and get a different company, this is what I get for buying rough country..

Ive been happy with my ICON tubular arms w/ delta joints

The poly bushings have worn out a couple times over the ten years ive had them

Agreed, I currently have the same ICONS. Or did, they’re taken off now. They worked great, but ball joint was more than completely shot along with the poly bushings. Also the inner bushing tubes rusted bad. Didn’t even notice till removing them. At the point I was at, doing a full rebuild will cost more than getting some budget arms.

As you can see, that’s what I get for going budget hahaha. Thanks for the input man.

Yea if you have the tools to press ball-joints in/out they're not any worse than a regular control arm on a stock car

The delta joints have actually held up quite well despite being open to the elements on the bottom side. The poly bushings wear out annoyingly fast
