I have never been a cat person and am allergic but my upstairs neighbor had this outdoor explorer, Missy. Who I called Chococat. I moved last summer and I miss little Chococat. 73159911820__A5DD91F1-8469-4FA6-8DBA-79786F338F59.jpg

Sometimes those are the best cats to have. Our old next door neighbors had a cat that passed away and we’re considering another one. Then the people behind us got a cat named Ron Solo and he spent enough time visiting the neighbors that they were satisfied with that. Benefits without the responsibilities I guess???

    I like how you think.

I'd always laugh as I left the house and I'd see Chococat down the block in someone's yard exploring. lol

This little bugger gave me a scare. In a few hours, he went from being playful and talkative, to lethargic and not eating. 36 hrs at the ER vet revealed a fever, but a battery of tests / scans couldn't provide any answers. Took a few days for him to get back to his normal self, thankfully, but he will need to get a job to cover the bill.

So someone dumped this little guy in my garage a few days ago. Been feeding and playing with him, bunch of little cuts and scars on him but seems to be generally healthy, but skinny. Have a question for everyone, thinking about taking him to the vet to get fixed and vaccinated, are male cats ok to have as an indoor cat? I've only had female cats inside, plus not sure of how my current kitty would like a kitten companion or not either.

I was always hesitant of having male (fixed) indoor cat. He turned out to be my favorite one. Much less finicky/needy.

He'll be fine, especially since he is still a kitten. Usually( not always) older cats will tolerate a new kitten. He may get schooled a little, but thats all part of the game. Sometimes they take to them, some times they just tolerate. Sometimes you get a cat that just doesn't like any new cats at all. Only one way to find out. But he's young enough not to mark.

Cute little guy. We have 2 male fixed cats that are indoor kitties. They enjoy it, but they do love to go out in the inclosed patio and lay in the sun, smell the outside and watch the world go by.
